Born and raised in Bellevue, I'm a 1996 graduate of Interlake High School, now a Maple Valley resident for nearly 5 years. I first was bit with the journalism bug when I was 15 and have been trying to make money at it ever since. I have a communications degree from the University of Washington and have been working in newspapers since 1997. You might see me walking my beagles, Lucy and Langdon, near Elk Run Golf Course or on the Lake Wilderness Trail with leashes in one hand and a BlackBerry cell phone in the other.
