Students of the Month from Tahoma High School were recognized by the Maple Valley Rotary at the club’s breakfast meetings in May and June.

Two students are selected each month based upon academic, leadership and community service criteria.

Students of the month include:

• September 2008 – Samantha Kunze and Russell Verkruyse;

• October 2008 – Hannah Stumpp and Kelsey Taylor;

• November 2008 – Mackenzie Cles and Jamie Martin;

• December 2008 – Krysten Hansen and Kailyn Holt;

• January 2009 – Kristen Eisele and Kelly Apperson;

• February 2009 – McKenzie Deutschendorf and Kimberlee Reese-White;

• March 2009 – Thomas Hammett and Sophia DiDonato;

• April 2009 – Kelton Sears and Rachel Bowers and

• May 2009 – Kyle Zemek and Kyla Potter.

Maple Valley Rotary congratulates these future community leaders.

Maple Valley Rotary was chartered May 21, 1985 and is a community service organization Maple Valley and Black Diamond.
