GSF Mortgage welcomes Ed Nelson to Maple Valley. Nelson will serve as Branch Manager of GSF Mortgage, a DBA of Northwest Capital Mortgage.

Nelson started in the real estate business as an agent from 1972-1980. After being in real estate, he accepted a position in the mortgage industry. Several years later, he opened the first mortgage company in Maple Valley, Northwest Capital Mortgage.

He has continued to serve Maple Valley and all of the surrounding communities, as well as Washington State for the past 26 years.

“I believe in homeownership and think it is the best investment for people,” said Nelson, due to the majority of his business coming from referrals.

Nelson will be joining the GSF family under the name of Northwest Capital Mortgage. The longevity of Northwest Capitol Mortgage will enhance the presence of GSF Mortgage in the Washington area, as Nelson plans to continue to brand his business by establishing Realtor relationships and staying customer focused. His philosophy is to guide his customers to get the best loan with the best rate. He believes his perseverance and principals are the key to his success.
