Covington Elementary’s Measurement of Student Progress (MSP) science results are the highest in the district.

Nearly 72 percent of last year’s fifth grade students met or exceeded the state standard on the science assessment.

Last year, less than 15 percent of the fifth-grade students met the standard.

At the school’s first assembly for the 2011-2012 school year, the sixth-grade students who took last year’s science assessment were congratulated.
