Covington girl chosen as finalist in National America Miss Washington Pageant Aug. 10-12

Alissa Gustafson from Covington has been chosen as a finalist in the National America Miss Washington Pageant which will be held Aug. 10-12 at the Hotel Murano in Tacoma.

Gustafson, 9, will participate in the Jr. Pre-Teen age division.

The winner of the pageant will receive a $1,000 cash award, the official crown and banner, a bouquet of roses and air transportation to compete in the National Pageant in California.

The National American Miss pageants are held for girls ages 4-18 and have five different age divisions.For more information, visit www.namiss.com.
