Isaiah Weever, 12, got to be Black Diamond Police Chief for a day as a part of a county-wide chief for a day event held at the Washington State Criminal Justice Training Center in Burien on August 17.
The event is intended to celebrate the lives of children who have been diagnosed with a chronic illness.
For the event, Weever was given a hand-tailored uniform and driven via police motorcade from Qwest Field to the Washington State Criminal Justice Training Center.
