Greater Maple Valley Black Diamond Chamber of commerce to host candidate forum for 5th District state senate, representative candidates Oct. 25

The Greater Maple Valley-Black Diamond Chamber of Commerce will host a candidate forum open to the public for the 5th District State Senate and State Representative candidates from 7-8:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25 at the Rock Creek Elementary School Gym.
Doors open at 6:45 p.m.
Participating in this forum are State Senate candidates Mark Mullet and Brad Toft, as well as State Representative Jay Rodne, unopposed for Position 1 and Chad Magendanz and David Spring candidates for State Representative Position 2.
Gretchen Wulfing, coach for Tahoma High School’s ‘We The People’ will serve as moderator.
The forum will include questions regarding ballot measures, referendums, resolutions, transportation, taxes and/or user fees, funding of education, and questions from the audience.
