Maple Valley’s annual Holiday Lights Celebration will be held 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5 at the Lake Wilderness Lodge, Park and Arboretum.

Experience thousands of festive lights, creative holiday displays, cookies, coffee and familiar sounds of the season.

Holiday entertainment for the evening will be provided by the Dickens Carolers and the Maple Valley Youth Symphony Orchestra.

The staff of the Greater Maple Valley Community Center’s Children & Family Services will be hosting crafts for the children and families on the lower level of Lake Wilderness Lodge.

Soon after the Mayor’s public welcome at 6 p.m. Santa will arrive on Maple Valley Fire & Life Safety’s Holiday Engine for a picture opportunity.

Free parking for the public will be available in the lighted parking lot by the beach and a well-lit walkway will guide you safely to the center of the activities happening at the Lodge.

Do not forget that canned food, new toys and cash donations will be accepted by the Maple Valley Food Bank at the event.
