Incident of the Week:

On Feb. 17 at 6:13 p.m. in the 20500 block of 295th Place S.E. firefighters from Maple Valley Fire and Life Safety, Kent Fire Department, Renton Fire Department and Eastside Fire & Rescue responded to a residential structure fire.  Upon arrival firefighters found an RV and garage fully engulfed in flames with fire further extending to the house.  The nearest fire hydrants were in excess of 2 miles so a water shuttle operation had to be established.  Fire crews were on scene through the night.  Loss was estimated at $310,000.  The cause of the fire is under investigation.
