Following is a list of regularly scheduled public meetings of local government:

Black Diamond City Council: The first and third Thursdays of the month at 7 p.m. at the council chambers, 25510 Lawson St.

Covington City Council: 7 p.m. the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month in the council chambers at City Hall, 16720 SE. 271st St. Agendas are available at www.ci.covington.wa.us.

Covington Domestic Violence Task Force: Noon-1 p.m. the second Thursday of the month at City Hall, 16720 SE. 271st St., Suite 100. Information available at (253) 638-1110 (extension 2237).

Covington Economic Development Council: 6 p.m. the fourth Thursday of the month at City Hall, 16720 SE. 271st St.

Covington Planning Commission: 6:30 p.m. the first and third Thursdays of the month in the City Council chambers at City Hall, 16720 SE. 271st St. Agendas are available at www.ci.covington.wa.us.

Kent School Board: The second and fourth Wednesdays of each month at 7 p.m. in the Kent School District administration center at 12033 SE. 256th St., Kent. Agendas are available from the superintendent’s office, any school office and at www.kent.k12.wa.us the Monday afternoon before a meeting.

King County Council: Mondays at 1:30 p.m. in the council chambers at the County Courthouse, 516 Third Ave., Seattle. Agendas at www.kingcounty.gov/council

King County Fire District 37 Commissioners: The third Monday of each month at Station 77, 20717 132nd Ave. SE., Kent.

Maple Valley City Council: 7 p.m. the second and fourth Mondays of the month at Tahoma School District Central Services Center, 25720 Maple Valley-Black Diamond Road SE. Agendas are available at www.ci.maple-valley.wa.us.

Maple Valley Library Advisory Board: 7 p.m. the first Thursday of alternating months at Maple Valley Library, 21844 SE. 248th St.

Maple Valley Public Safety Oversight Committee: 6 p.m. the third Tuesday of every other month at City Hall, 22035 SE. Wax Road.

Maple Valley Fire and Life Safety Commissioners: Monthly at Station 80, 23775 SE. 264th St., Maple Valley.

Tahoma School Board: The second and fourth Tuesdays of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the Tahoma School District Central Services Center, 25720 Maple Valley-Black Diamond Road SE. Agendas available at www.tahoma.wednet.edu.
