Rotary honors Kentlake seniors

Melissa Kozy and Juan de Dios Morales, seniors at Kentlake High School, are Kent Rotary Club’s Students of the Month for October.

Kozy is a third-year member of Kentlake’s volleyball team, has also competed in track, and is a member of Honor Society and the Environmental Protection Club. She also participates in church service activities. She plans to attend college and medical school.

Morales is a member of the soccer team, takes Running Start classes at Green River Community College and has a 3.8 grade point average. He’s a volunteer at Seattle Food Bank. He plans to study computer science or engineering in college.
