The Carly Stowell Foundation auction is slated for 6:30 p.m., Nov. 21 at Stone Mountain Flooring, 1604 15th St. S.W., Auburn.

This event is meant to be an affordable way to bring the foundation’s supporters together to celebrate and showcase the talented youngsters who have benefited from the foundation’s mission to provide enhanced skill training in athletics and music to young people who demonstrate a passion for learning and a commitment to excel.

The fundraiser will include dinner, a dance and a silent auction.

The cost is $6 per person for Jammin’ families while CSF supporters will be able to buy tickets for $15 apiece.

Volunteers are welcome and can contact Lorri Hicks at (253) 569-2727 or lorrihicks@msn.com.

Carly Stowell, a freshman at Kentlake, died while at a basketball tournament in North Carolina after suffering a heart arrhythmia while in her hotel in April 2007. Stowell was passionate about sports and music. Her friends and family began the foundation to carry on the spirit of her life.
