Author Gregg Olsen will hold a book signing for "Envy" and his other recent books at the from noon to 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 10 at the Maple Valley Fred Meyer.

The Maple Valley Fred Meyer is located at 26520 Maple Valley-Black Diamond Road Southeast.

Based on a true, and deadly, case of bullying, "Envy" is set in Port Gamble and has been chosen by state librarians as the book to represent Washington at September’s National Book Festival Pavilion of the States.

"Envy" stars twin sisters Hayley and Taylor Ryan of Port Gamble— a.k.a. “Empty Coffin” due to an old town legend. Opening with the mysterious death of the twins' childhood friend, Hayley and Taylor aren’t convinced she committed suicide as the medical examiner has deemed.

Determined to find out what really happened, they investigate, stumbling upon a dark truth far more disturbing than they could have imagined and uncovering a spine-chilling secret about their own past.

Olsen, a Kitsap County resident and father of twin girls, populates his "Empty Coffin" series with a cast of teens that young adult readers will find highly realistic.

The "Envy" paperback includes bonus material about Olsen and a discussion guide that will spark robust conversation among readers of all ages.
