The Maple Valley Creative Arts Center will host photographer, Tara Nalani Cristobal-Rivera at her first solo show at 7 p.m. on Friday.

Wine and refreshments will be served.

Cristobal-Rivera began her interest in photography as a young girl as she watched her father master portrait photography. She found herself not wanting to be in front of the camera but rather behind it and yearning to learn more.

Through her travels, Cristobal-Rivera began to capture her favorite scenic moments and discovered the world of black and white landscape photography.

The center is located at 23220 Maple Valley Highway SE, Suite 15 Maple Valley.
