Ski season at Snoqualmie | Driving tips from Washington Department of Transportation

The wait to hit the Summit at Snoqualmie slopes is over.

Whether you’re skiing or snowboarding, it looks like early season conditions now, but that could soon change. Before you plan your trip on I-90, make sure your car is ready to go with a winter car kit (pdf 189 kb).

You should also check the pass reports, and prepare for winter driving conditions in the mountains. The updated weather outlook call for high winds and snow in the Cascades this weekend. If you go, check the weather forecast and plan accordingly. All of this preparation will help ensure you have a good time in the snow!
