Anyone under 18 can take advantage of the new free summer lunch program at Cedar Valley Elementary School which is offered from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., Monday through Friday, through Aug. 26.

Volunteers serve as site supervisors and pass out lunches to the kids.

This free lunch site came about through a partnership between the Kent School District, which provides the food through a federally funded program, and Mountain Vineyard Christian Fellowship in Covington, which provides volunteers.
