Bail set at $1 million for son accused of stabbing mother to death in Black Diamond

Bail was set today for Cecil Douglas Walker in King County Superior Court for the stabbing death of his mother, 86-year-old Ella May Walker.

According to the King County Prosecutor's website, Walker appeared in court today and bail was set at $1 million.

The prosecutor's office has until Wednesday, Sept. 1, to file charges.

The 50-year-old Cecil Walker is accused of using a knife to stab his mother to death while she sat in a chair in her house. Cecil Walker lived with her.

The probable cause statement filed by the investigating officers with the King County Prosecutor's office stated Cecil Walker is believed to have committed first degree murder, domestic violence.
