Domestic violence incident in Covington ends with man in custody | BREAKING NEWS

Covington police officers, King County Sheriff's deputies and other emergency personnel responding to an alleged domestic violence incident in the Timberlane development in Covington today, Nov. 8.

The suspect is in custody.

Early reports are a father had barricaded himself in his home and may have had weapons. The man is alleged to have barricaded himself in the home following a domestic violence incident.

Cedar Valley Elementary School was lockdown.

Roads are closed and the public is being asked by officials to avoid the area if possible.
