Detectives seeking witnesses to collision on state Route 18 Feb. 16 | Washington State Patrol

Washington State Patrol detectives are looking for anyone who witnessed a one vehicle serious injury collision that occurred on the southbound I-5 exit to westbound state Route 18 at about 10:30 a.m. Feb. 16.

A Honda Accord was traveling at a high rate of speed while fleeing from a state trooper. The driver took the exit and skidded off the road to the left striking several trees prior to coming to rest. The collision seriously injured all three occupants of the Honda.

The Washington State Patrol Criminal Investigation Division is seeking witnesses to the events leading up to and the actual collision. If you saw or heard anything in regards to this chain of events call Detective Sgt. Jerry Cooper at 360-805-1192 or Detective Ruth Medeiros at 425-401-7719.
