Three suspects charged in armed robberies in Maple Valley and Covington

Three suspects have been charged in a string of armed robberies at convenience stores in King County over the past two weeks.

Christopher Jean Manning, 24, and Joseph M. Campbell, 16, are charged with six counts of robbery first degree.

Campell has been charged as an adult, according to Dan Donohoe of the King County Prosecutor's Office.

The third defendant, Bao Quoc Ly, 23, has been charged with two counts of robbery first degree for his alleged involvement in the robberies.

All three defendants remain in jail with bail set at $300,000.

Arraignment is scheduled for 9 a.m. Aug. 25  at the Norm Maleng Regional Justice Center.
