Public hearing to consider application seeking land-use approval Aug. 16

A public hearing is scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 16 in the board room of the Tahoma School District Central Facilities Building.
The building is located at 25720 Maple Valley-Black Diamond Road.
The public hearing will consider an application seeking land-use approval of a preliminary plat proposal to subdivide 8.26 acres zoned R-4 (four dwelling units to the acre) into six single-family residential lots.
The applicant is Schneider Homes Inc., 6510 Southcenter Blvd #1, Tukwila, WA 98188.
The development site is on tax parcel 669993-0630, located north of the Burlington Northern – Santa Fe Railroad right-of-way and south of the Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) power line easement, between Kent City Limits and 224th Avenue Southeast.
