Public hearing over land-use application for residential lots in Maple Valley to be held Thursday

A public hearing is scheduled to consider an application seeking land-use approval of a preliminary plat proposal to subdivide 8.26 acres zoned R-4 (four dwelling units to the acre) into six single-family residential lots.
The hearing will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 16 in the board room of the Tahoma School District Central Facilities Building, 25720 Maple Valley-Black Diamond Road.
The applicant is Schneider Homes Inc., 6510 Southcenter Blvd #1, Tukwila, WA 98188. The development site is on tax parcel 669993-0630, located north of the Burlington Northern – Santa Fe Railroad right-of-way and south of the Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) power line easement, between Kent city limits and 224th Avenue Southeast.
The project file is available for public review, by appointment, at City Hall, 22017 SE Wax Rd., between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
