The bat were swinging at Lake Wilderness Park in the "Guns and Hoses" softball game between the Maple Valley Police Department and Maple Valley Fire and Life Safety Sunday, Aug. 26
It appeared the firefighters won the game. The police did score.
Tommy Bennett hit an in-the-park home run to close the game out.
