Southeast Kent Kangley Road closures one mile east of Maple Valley Sept. 4-28
September 1, 2012 · Updated 1:18 PM
King County will be replacing two seventy year old concrete pipes under Southeast Kent Kangley Road, approximately one mile east of incorporated Maple Valley (approximate block of 264th), with a high box culvert structure.
Utility relocation work on both shoulders is currently under way, however, one lane remains open and flaggers are cycling traffic through the project zone.
Beginning Sept. 4 excavation of the entire roadway width will be underway to accommodate the new box culvert and SE Kent-Kangley will be closed Sept. 4-28.
For project information contact Norm Gammell at King County Department of Transportation at 800-527-6237 or 206-296-8100.
