Covington mayor, city manager to give 'State of the City' address Sept. 13

Covington’s Mayor Margaret Harto and City Manager Derek Matheson will speak about the city’s progress over the past year as well as its accomplishments and future outlook at the annual State of the City Address on Thursday, Sept. 13.

The public will have two opportunities to attend the State of the City Address.

The Covington Chamber of Commerce will host the first address at their monthly luncheon at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 13 at Covington Christian Fellowship, 26201 180th Ave SE, in Covington.

The Timberlane Homeowner’s Association will host the second opportunity later that evening at 7 p.m. prior to their monthly board meeting in the Timberlane Clubhouse, located at 19300 SE 267thSt. in Covington.
