Traffic revision on state Route 169 in Maple Valley set for Tuesday and Wednesday
September 18, 2012 · Updated 10:32 AM
There will be a traffic revision on the Maple Valley Highway state Route 169 Tuesday and Wednesday where the road intersects with Southeast 264th Street and Southeast 258th Street near Rock Creek Elementary School.
The roadway will be reduced to two lanes - one lane in each direction, and shifted to the east side and then to the west side.
Also, for short periods of time between the hours of 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., state Route 169 will be “flagged”/reduced down to one lane only.
Traffic flow will be alternated between northbound and southbound.
This is required for utility construction work to cross the highway for the state Route 169 Maple Valley Roadway Improvements Project.
Please slow down and look for signs directing traffic movements and please watch for flaggers and be prepared to stop during the middle of the day.
All entrances, driveways, and the highway itself will remain open.
For more information, visit the SR 169 Maple Valley Roadway Improvements Project webpage.
