What Happened at the Metropolitan King County Council

At today’s Committee of the Whole, Committee members received a briefing on:
- Eastside Rail Corridor: Appraisal (Briefing No. 2012-B0148).
At today’s Council meeting, Councilmembers:
- Unanimously adopted a motion confirming the appointment of David K. chapman as the Director of the Office of Public Defense (Motion 2012-0260).
- Unanimously adopted a motion regarding access to public transportation mobility for low-income populations; establishing an advisory committee for mobility to assist in the development of a new regional public transportation fare programs (Motion 2012-0381).
