King County Council to hear public testimony on 2012 comprehensive plan update

Public’s opportunity to comment before final action in December


The Metropolitan King County Council will take public testimony on the 2012 update to the county’s Comprehensive Plan, the blueprint for growth in unincorporated King County, at its Monday, November 26 meeting:

The King County Comprehensive Plan guides growth and development in the unincorporated areas of the county and sets policy on such major issues as annexations, transportation, and the environment.

The hearing will be the public’s opportunity to comment on the proposal before the Council takes final action on the legislation in December. Residents can submit written testimony online by visiting the King County Council Web site at and following the link to the “Comprehensive Plan.”
