Mullet sworn-in to represent 5th Legislative District, including Maple Valley

Sen. Mark Mullet was sworn-in by Chief Justice Barbara Madsen yesterday to represent the 5th Legislative District in the Washington State Senate.
Mullet currently owns two small businesses in Issaquah – Zeek’s Pizza and Ben and Jerry’s. He was elected to the Issaquah City Council in 2009.
Running as a Democrat, Mullet won in the November elections against Republican candidate Brad Toft, a Snoqualmie resident, garnering 36,765 votes, 54.31 percent.
