Police search for suspect allegedly involved in armed bank robbery in Covington

Police are searching for a suspect believed to have robbed a Covington bank Thursday.

According to King County Sheriff's Office Spokesperson Cindi West, the suspect entered the U.S. Bank at 17601 SE 272nd Street at around 6 p.m. just before the bank closed with a handgun.

The suspect left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect is described as a white male wearing a blue, gray and black ski coat, black ski mask.

Police attempted a canine track, but were not able to find the suspect.
