Maple Valley highway traffic alert between SE 264th Street and SE 260th Street

January 31, 2013 · 5:02 PM

The base paving of the west side of the road has been rescheduled to Jan. 31, however rain is likely to push work to Feb. 1st. The paving will require traffic revisions (lanes shifted and stopping of traffic with a flagger for short periods as required) to both Northbound and Southbound SR 169. However, most of the time both the northbound lane and the southbound lane will remain open.

Access to businesses will remain open at all times (with the exception of when they are paving immediately in front of businesses' driveways for about 45 minutes). Also look for short duration detours as the contractor endeavors to keep access open.

Please stay alert, be aware of workers and flaggers, and travel slowly (a maximum 25 mph) through the designated work zone.
