New Issaquah schools superintendent from Maple Valley

Ron Thiele, a Maple Valley resident, has been named the new superintendent for the Issaquah School District.
Thiele, who is currently the district's associate superintendent, will start his new role as superintendent in July. He will replace retiring superintendent Steve Rasmussen.
Thiele has almost 25 years of experience in education. Prior to joining the Issaquah School District in 2001 as a principal he worked for the Tahoma School District as an assistant principal at what was then Glacier Park Middle School.
