Man alright after kayaking incident
Emergency crews were called to the Green River near Kanasket-Palmer State Park last Saturday after a man became unconscious while kayaking.
He was taken to a hospital as a precaution, but officials said he was in stable condition when he left the scene.
His friends took him to shore and called for help. Firefighters from Maple Valley and Fire District 47, among other agencies, responded to the call.
