The Interstate 90 reversible express lanes will be closed nightly, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., starting Sunday night, Dec. 8, until Friday morning, Dec. 13.

Overnight closures of the I-90 center roadway are scheduled to resume the following week, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly, Sunday, Dec. 15, until Friday morning, Dec. 20. The express lanes will reopen each morning in the regularly scheduled westbound direction.

A crew for Sound Transit will be measuring pavement thickness on the I-90 bridge in preparation to install light rail to Bellevue for the East Link Extension. The 14-mile light rail extension to Overlake is scheduled to be complete by 2023.

In the Seattle area, drivers can check the latest roadway conditions with WSDOT’s online travel tools, such as the Seattle traffic page, the What’s Happening Now page, Twitter feed or mobile app.
