Meeting scheduled about proposed Black Diamond Open Space trails

King County Parks has scheduled a public meeting for March 26 in Ravensdale to meet with people who want to learn more about trails proposed for the Black Diamond Open Space.

The meeting is set for 7-8:30 p.m. in the commons at Tahoma Junior High School.

Employees with King County Parks will provide a brief overview of the proposal to develop mountain bike trails, primarily in the portion of the open space north of State route 169 and within the power line right of way.

Those who attend will learn about the history of the site, the current trail system, future planning work and how they can be involved in developing the trails plan.

Citizens who can’t attend the meeting but who would like to learn more can contact Butch Lovelace with King County Parks, 206-477-4577, or butch.lovelace@kingcounty.gov.
