King County Flood Control District Executive Committee – 9:30 a.m. *** Special Meeting *** The Committee will meet in the Southwest Conference Room, 12th Flr, King County Courthouse

 

  • King County Flood Control District Executive Director position interviews

Metropolitan King County Council – 1:30 p.m.

Councilmembers are scheduled to discuss and possibly act on:

  • A motion to create a safety of newborn children task force for King County (Motion 2014-0125).
  • A motion accepting the King County sheriff's office internal investigations unit annual report for 2013 (Motion 2014-0096).

 

King County Flood Control District – 1:30 p.m. *** Special Meeting ***

  • A resolution relating to the Russell Road Upper Levee-North and South Reach levee improvement project on the Green River in the City of Kent, and authorizing the chair to enter into an agreement with the City of Kent (Resolution FCD2014-02).

 

 

Tuesday, April 1

Transportation, Economy and Environment

Committee – 9:30 a.m.

Briefing:

 

 

  • Pay Equity for County Employees (Briefing 2014-B0057)

 

Committee members are scheduled to discuss and possibly recommend to the full council:

  • An ordinance relating to comprehensive planning and permitting (Ordinance 2014-0104).
  • Ordinances relating to building codes (Ordinance 2013-0480) and permitting and zoning (Ordinance 2013-0479).

Budget and Fiscal Management Committee – 1:30 p.m.

Committee members are scheduled to discuss and possibly recommend to the full council:

  • A motion adopting comprehensive financial management policies for King County; and rescinding Motion 13761 and Motion 13764 (Motion 2014-0095).
  • An ordinance authorizing the issuance and public sale of one or more series of limited tax general obligation bonds of the county in an outstanding aggregate principal amount not to exceed $26,500,000 to provide long-term financing for all or part of the capital costs of the Surface Water Management Projects, the Tall Chief Acquisition Project and the White River Conservation Easement Project (Ordinance 2014-0101).
