Business group endorses challenger for Legislature

Tim Miller, the Republican challenger in a race for state representative in the 47th District, has been endorsed by a statewide business organization.

The National Federation of Independent Business Washington SAFE Trust, the political-action committee of NFIB/Washington, endorsed Miller based on his responses to a questionnaire about his positions on business-related issues.

NFIB/Washington is the largest small-business advocacy organization in the state.

Miller is running against Rep. Pat Sullivan, a Democrat.Sullivan’s voting record on pro-business legislation didn’t warrant an endorsement, according to NFIB.

The 47th District includes Covington, Black Diamond and some of the Kent and Renton areas.
