Monday, July 14

King County Ferry Board Executive Committee – 10:00 a.m. ***Special Meeting Location: Horiuchi Conference Room, 12th Floor, King County Courthouse***

  • Approval of invoices.

King County Flood Control District – CANCELED

King County Ferry District – 1:30 p.m. ***Special Meeting***

  • A resolution authorizing the chair of the King County Ferry District board to execute an addendum to the interlocal agreement with King County related to the county providing passenger only ferry service, capital investment program implementation and operational support services to the district (FD Resolution No. FD2014-04).
  • A resolution approving the 2014-2018 Strategic Plan for water taxi service (FD Resolution FD2014-05).

Metropolitan King County Council – 1:30 p.m.

Councilmembers are scheduled to discuss and possibly act on:

·         An ordinance adopting public transportation service reductions in September 2014, February 2015, June 2015 and September 2015 scheduled service changes (Ordinance 2014-0169).

For introduction and referral:

·         An ordinance addressing income inequality through a requirement that a living wage be paid to county employees and to the employees of certain county contractors (Ordinance 2014-0299).

·         An ordinance ending the honoring of civil immigration hold requests from the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement for individuals in the custody of the department of adult and juvenile detention (Ordinance 2014-0297).


Tuesday, July 15


Transportation, Economy and Environment Committee – 9:30 a.m.

Committee members are scheduled to discuss and possibly recommend to the full council:

  • A motion approving an Update to the Strategic Plan for Road Services (Motion 2014-0142).


  • Living Wage (Briefing 2014-B0124).

Budget and Fiscal Management Committee – 1:30 p.m.


  • Public Health Budget (Briefing 2014-B0108).

For discussion only:

  • A motion accepting a low income fare program implementation plan, as required by Ordinance 17757, Section 4.A.1 (Motion 2014-0226).
