Nov. 4 – the general election – is the big one, but the King County elections department lists some other dates as important ones leading up to election day.

Oct. 3-5: absentee (mail-in) ballots mailed to military, overseas and out-of-state voters.

Oct. 4: Last day to change your address, register online or mail in registrations.

Oct. 13: Voters’ pamphlets mailed.

Oct. 15-17: Ballots mailed to all other mail-in voters.

Oct. 20: Deadline to register as a Washington voter in person at elections office.

Nov. 3: Last day to apply for a mail-in ballot.

Nov. 3: Final day to file as a write-in candidate.
