The occupants – humans and animals – of a house on Southeast 388th escaped injury in a fire Sept. 29, according to Mountain View Fire and Rescue/Fire District 44.

The homeowner had a dog and rabbits that were unhurt, a district spokesman said.

The fire was reported by a neighbor who called 9-1-1.

Firefighters contained the blaze to one section of the house.
