A Hobart woman was killed in a car wreck Dec. 6 near Maple Valley, according to the King County Sheriff Department.

Around 11 p.m., Debra Black, 47, was headed south in a 1995 Lincoln Mark 8 on Southeast 276th Avenue about five miles away from Maple Valley city limits. A 17-year-old male from Bellevue was driving north in a 2007 Ford Fusion on Southeast 276th when his vehicle crossed the center line and hit Black's car in the 20800 block, said Sheriff Department spokesman John Urquhart.

Black died at the scene. Her passenger and the teen driver were both treated for non-life threatening injuries at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

"No specific cause of the accident has been determined," Urquhart said. "The incident is still under investigation."
