Maple Valley seeks applicants for Economic Development Committee

Maple Valley is seeking applicants for its Economic Development Committee.

The EDC reviews and recommends to the City Council activities that will further economic development within the City of Maple Valley. The EDC also assists with implementation of programs and objectives identified on the EDC Work Plan. This recruitment is for three positions that expire in December 2009. Applicants who live in the city will receive first consideration, however, applicants who live outside the city may also

be considered.

The City Council seeks to include a diverse and balanced cross section of Maple Valley residents and commercial interests for the EDC. Members are appointed to two-year terms.

Applications are available on the City’s website (www.ci.maple-valley.wa.us), or at City Hall, 22035 SE Wax Road, Suite 5. To request an application, call City Hall at 425-413-8800. Applications are due by Nov. 20.
