Maple Valley fire department battles house fire in Cherokee Bay

Maple Valley Fire and Life Safety responded to a house fire in Cherokee Bay at about 11:40 a.m.

Firefighters on the scene found a two-story home on fire.

Firefighters from the Kent Fire Department and King County Fire District 44 assisted.

The fire was brought under control and it is currently under investigation.
