A vacant home was entered and vandalized on March 18

LARCENY

• On March 16 it was reported two suspects shoplifted two music instruments from The Music Trader. According to the police report, a male and female suspect shoplifted trumpets.

• It was reported on March 17 that the reporting party tried to stop a shoplifting suspect. According to the police report, the reporting party tells the suspect to leave. The suspect would not leave so the reporting party tried to take back the stolen items and the suspect hit items and slapped the reporting party.

• On March 18 it was reported that an unknown suspect opened an unlocked vehicle and took cigarettes and the vehicle title. The car was in the driveway.

• A juvenile shoplifted from Costco on March 18.

• On March 21 it was reported that a son broke into his parents’ room and took and consumed THC candy.

• Two suspects were arrested for shoplifting at Johnsons Home and Garden on March 21. According to the police report, a female was arrested for shoplifting a tape measure. The female had a getaway driver who was waiting for her. The driver was also arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license. Inside the vehicle was more merchandise stolen from Fred Meyer and another unknown location.

• An unknown male stole a wallet and keys at Fred Meyer on March 22. The suspect stole a victim’s keys and wallet and then tried to used the stolen credit card at Fred Meyer.

DISTURBANCE

•A male and female were arguing on March 17 at a gas station.

DUI

•A male subject was arrested for a DUI on March 18. It was reported that the male blew a .098 twice. The subject was also on three medications that caused drowsiness. The subject had been drinking at the Pla-Mor Tavern.

BURGLARY

•It was reported on March 18 a vacant home posted with an eviction notice was entered and vandalized. According to the police report, the entry point was the dog door, which was crawled through and the house was spray painted.

SHOOTING

• It was reported on March 19 a subject accidentally shot himself in the foot at his private residence.

OPERATOR’S LICENSE VIOLATION

• It was reported on March 20 a subject was pulled over for speeding 16 mph over the speed limit. According to the police report, the subject was charged with driving without a license.

ABANDONED VEHICLE

• An abandoned vehicle was found on March 22. A trailer was abandoned on private property behind a dead end sign in Maple Valley. The trailer was possibly stolen, there was no record on registration.

SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES

• It was reported on March 22 a subject impersonated police with blue/white flashing lights and a siren to stop a motorist. According to the police report, the subject collided with the motorist’s vehicle and claimed to be federal police.

FORGERY

• On March 23 it was reported a teen suspect attempted to pass a counterfeit $20 bill at a local restaurant. Similar counterfeit bills with the same serial number were passed at two other locations across the street by unknown teenagers. According to the police report, unidentified juvenile witnesses report that a Mattson Middle School eighth grader is printing fake money on a home computer.

THEFT

•On March 24 it was reported that a 2004 Nissan Pathfinder was stolen from in front of a house.
