Republic Services said that customers in the Bellevue area will need to make service adjustments during Christmas and New Year’s Day. Customers are encouraged to note the following waste, recycling and organics collection service announcements and changes:

• On Christmas Day-December 25, 2017 and on New Year’s Day-Jan. 1 2018, Republic Services will not collect waste, recycling and organics from its Puget Sound-area customers.
• The observed holidays will shift collection by one day for all customers the remainder of the week, including Saturday. For example, if your garbage is normally collected Monday, it will be collected Tuesday.
• Republic Services observes the same holidays as the King County transfer stations, which include Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day.
• The Customer Care and Recycling Center at 1600 127th Ave NE in Bellevue will also be closed on these days.
