Male subject went through multiple vehicles overnight|Police Blotter

LARCENY

• On Jan. 13 it was reported to officers that an unknown male subject had gone through multiple vehicles overnight. According to the police report, the subject entered several unlocked vehicles and took items from inside.

• On Jan. 16 officers were contacted because a video game system has been stolen from the victim’s unlocked vehicle.

• On Jan. 16 it was reported an unknown suspect had stolen the victim’s purse including her prescription medications from her shopping cart in the parking lot of the Covington Dollar Tree.

• On Jan. 17 officers were contacted by the reporting party who reported a gas can was stolen off their trailer/snowmobile.

• On Jan. 17 officers responded to Famous Footwear to reports of several shoes and backpacks being stolen. The police report stated the subject fled with the items out the front door.

• On Jan. 18 it was reported that a watch was missing from a student’s backpack at Tahoma High School. The police report stated the watch was taken from inside an unlocked locker in a locker room.

AUTO THEFT

• On Jan. 14 officers were contacted regarding reports the victim’s vehicle had been stolen from her driveway the night before. The police report stated the vehicle was taken as part of a collision investigation.

BURGLARY

• On Jan. 14 it was reported that items were taken from the victim’s open garage.

TRESPASS

• On Jan. 14 officers trespassed two subjects from Kohl’s for attempted shoplifting. According to the police report, one of the subjects was also investigated for an outstanding warrant.

• On Jan. 16 a male subject was trespassed from Rite Aid for reportedly acting out while inside the store.

STOLEN LICENSE PLATE

• On Jan. 16 it was reported that a temporary license plate for a motorcycle was discovered missing. The police report stated it was unknown if it was stolen or if it was lost.

LOST PROPERTY

• On Jan. 17 officers were contacted regarding reports their child’s school laptop was lost or stolen. According to the police report, the laptop was forgotten or stolen from a bus stop.

VANDALISM

• On Jan. 17 it was reported that an unknown subject reportedly threw a rock through the victim’s second story window.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON

• On Jan. 19 officers were contacted regarding reports of a suspicious man in a van who was seen taking photographs and intimidating citizens. The police report stated he loiters near school bus stops.
