Zaine Stenson, a junior at Tahoma High School, has qualified to represent the United States

Zaine Stenson, a junior at Tahoma High School, has qualified to represent the United States in the 14 Challenge Boys and 14 Challenge Boys Cruiser at the UCI World Championships in July.

More than 3,300 riders from 40 countries are expected to participate in the championships in Rock Hill, S.C. “This has been a goal of Zaine’s for about a year and a half,” his mom Jamie Stenson said in an email.

“Watching him put in the hours of training and practice it takes to reach this level and then accomplish it has been inspiring for us as parents.”
