Road rage victim confronted suspect in parking lot | Police Blotter

The following police blotter entries were provided by the King County Sheriff’s Office.

FORGERY

• On Dec. 1 it was reported that unknown suspects deposited the victim’s checks without permission.

FRAUD

• On Dec. 8 officers were contacted by the victim who was reporting credit card fraud. The victim told officers that he received two letters stating that credit card accounts had been opened fraudulently.

VIOLATION OF COURT ORDERS

• On Dec. 2 officers responded to reports that a protection order was violated by comments being posted on a social media site. The police report stated the comments were used to defame and demean the suspect’s ex-girlfriend.

LARCENY

• On Dec. 2 officers were called to the Red Robin parking lot to reports that an unidentified Asian male had shattered the victim’s vehicle window. The report stated items were also stolen from the vehicle. The report stated the suspect parked next to the victim’s vehicle. They reportedly fled the scene in an older Honda Accord.

• On Dec. 2 officers were called to the Covington Fred Meyer to reports that a female subject had shoplifted. When officers arrived, the subject was attempting to leave the store’s security office. According to the police report, she had given false statements and had warrants.

• On Dec. 3 it was reported that items had been stolen out of lockers at LA Fitness. The police report stated that the locks were cut to gain entry.

• On Dec. 6 officers were contacted regarding two subjects who did not pay a taxi driver after being dropped off at Fred Meyer. The report stated the two did not have money for the fare. The report continued, saying the two subjects went to another person’s home to buy heroin.

• On Dec. 8 officers were contacted by the victim who was reporting that mail had been stolen from his mailbox. The police report stated he has been the victim of mail theft several times in the past few years.

BURGLARY

• On Dec. 9 it was reported that an unknown male forced his way into a vacant home that is under construction.

FAMILY DISTURBANCE

• On Dec. 3 it was reported that officers were contacted regarding an incident that happened two and a half years ago. The police report stated there was no evidence and no charges were filed.

• On Dec. 4 officers were called to the scene of a domestic disturbance. The report stated that neither party was cooperating with officers and they also did not wish to help assist in any investigation.

ASSAULT

• On Dec. 4 officers were called the scene of a domestic violence incident. When they arrived, one subject had already left the scene. According to reports, the victim was thrown against the wall and was punched in her face.

• On Dec. 5 it was reported that a son had punched his mom’s boyfriend in the face with a closed fist.

• On Dec. 7 it was reported that the victim of a road rage incident had been punched in the face. The police report stated the victim followed the suspect into the QFC parking lot and then confronted him. The suspect then punched the victim.

• On Dec. 9 officers were called to reports that the subject hit the victim in the face and also hit a 1 year old in the head with a set of keys.

PROPERTY CONFISCATED

• On Dec. 6 a backpack was reported being found in the bathroom at Home Depot.

CRIMINAL WARRANT

• On Dec. 7 officers stopped a bicycle rider who was riding without a helmet. When officers contacted the rider, it was determined that they had a misdemeanor warrant out of Covington for theft.

THREATS

• On Dec. 7 it was reported that phone calls were made to a former employer. According to the police report, that calls appeared to be threatening.

• On Dec. 10 officers were contacted regarding reports that after a vehicle was towed, threats were reportedly made to the tow driver. Subjects threatened to shoot up the office and maintenance supervisor.
