A police officer found a suspect spray painting a vehicle, the vehicle did not have a license plate

CRIMINAL WARRANT

• On Feb. 11 police officers were dispatched to the strip mall in Covington for a suspicious person and vehicle in the parking lot. According to the police report, the officer found a suspect spray painting a vehicle. The vehicle did not have a license plate.

• A police officer was called to Fred Meyer on Feb. 11 about a suspect who was seen walking around the parking lot looking into multiple vehicle windows. Upon contact, the suspect was booked into Kent jail for a misdemeanor warrant.

• On Feb. 11 a police officer was dispatched to Maple Valley Black Diamond Road SE for a suspicious male walking around the parking lot. The police officer contacted the suspect and arrested him for two warrants. The suspect was a drug user, according to the report.

• On Feb. 12 a neighbor called to report suspicious activity at their neighbor’s house. The neighbor told the call receiver that they observed two males arrive in a vehicle. One of the suspects turned out to have a warrant.

• Police officers were contacted on Feb. 14 by an unknown person stating they saw a wanted felon that he personally knew. According to the police report, the wanted felon was in a parking lot near Fred Meyer.

OPERATOR’S LICENSE VIOLATION

• On Feb. 11 a suspect was pulled over and was driving without a license or identification. It was reported that there was no record with the name and date of birth given to the police officer from the suspect. The suspect had an immigration foot ankle bracelet on.

RECKLESS DRIVING

• On Feb. 12 it was reported that an unknown red sports car was driving recklessly south bond on Witte Road SE and then turned westbound on SE 272 St.

TRESPASS

• It was reported on Feb. 10 that two female teenagers were trespassed from Safeway for possible shoplifting. According to the report, the suspects were shoplifting for a party.

• On Feb. 11 it was reported that a suspect was cited into Covington Municipal Court for trespass and stalking. According to the report, the suspect had trespassed and made threats against family members. The suspect used the backyard kitchen window to trespass and tore open screen to unlock the window.

Assault

• It was reported on Feb. 10 that a victim was punched in the face by a suspect. According to the police report, the altercation happened in a Covington city street. The victim was in his car when the suspect used the window as an entry point and punched the victim in the face.

Juvenile Disturbance

• It was reported on Feb. 11 that a juvenile threw a hard toy out of anger at the Dollar Tree. The object hit a woman in the head.
