FORGERY CHECKS

• It was reported on March 25 that mail theft resulted in fraudulent checks written against the victim’s checking account.

• On March 29 it was reported that a check was stolen from a mailbox and was cashed.

VEHICLE RECOVERY

• On March 25 unoccupied Tacoma Police Department stolen pickup truck was recovered in the Covington Fred Meyer parking lot. Several subjects associated with the vehicle arrested on warrants and provided information about the suspects involved.

ATTEMPTING TO ELUDE

• On March 25 it was reported that during a traffic stop, the vehicle attempted to elude but did not pursue. The traffic stop was for equipment violation.

VANDALISM

• A boyfriend gets upset and slams a chair and breaks it on March 26.

PROWLER

• On March 26 a car prowler was reported. According to the police report, the vehicle was unlocked but nothing was taken.

CRIMINAL WARRANT

• A suspicious vehicle was seen driving through Pebble Creek on March 28. The vehicle was occupied by three subjects that the reporting party believed was casing or prowling the area. One of the subjects had a warrant.

THREATS

• On March 28 it was reported that a dog was running around a neighborhood. The neighbor two blocks away from the dog’s owner brought the dog back for the second time. When they returned the dog, the dog’s owner started making vague threats. The owner then showed up to the neighbor’s house and took pictures.

BURGLARY

• A forced entry was reported at the Elk Run Community. According to the police report, a subject forced entry into the shed. There are no witnesses and the reporting party is unwilling to prosecute if the suspect is located.

TRAFFIC COMPLAINT INVESTIGATION

• A road rage incident took place on March 29. According to the police report, both drivers claimed the other was the primary aggressor. Neither one of the drivers wanted to pursue the issue.
